"At long last, have you no sense of decency?" Well, it seems that decency HAS returned!

From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_N._Welch

"Joseph Nye Welch (October 22, 1890 – October 6, 1960) was the chief counsel for the United States Army while it was under investigation for Communist activities by Senator Joseph McCarthy's Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, an investigation known as the Army–McCarthy hearings. His confrontation with McCarthy during the hearings, in which he famously asked McCarthy "At long last, have you left no sense of decency?" is seen as a turning point in the history of McCarthyism"

This iconic question by Joseph Welch continues to reverberate and last night (on 11-7-17), the sense of decency won out in major elections across the United States!

So while our incompetent, uncaring president preens on his Asia trip, a majority of Americans have again shown their true heart in contest after contest -- Bravo!

And I certainly praise Tom Perez with his approach to running everywhere. "If you have a zip code, Democrats should be running in your area," he has stated.

It's always been here. Common decency is not all that uncommon. GreenEyedLefty Nov 2017 #1
If only that disgust would translate into voting against cruelty and viciousness. el_bryanto Nov 2017 #2
I agree with you generally but I had such a sense of dread before this VA election and Ukapau Nov 2017 #3

It's not just Democrats. There are many silent Republicans who are just as disgusted by the direction their party is going as we are.
