***Breaking: McConnell to Alabama (R) US Senate Candidate Moore, you must step aside!***

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called on the party's nominee for Senate in Alabama, Roy Moore, to withdraw from the race if a new report that he pursued teenage girls in his 30's is true.

"If these allegations are true, he must step aside."

The Washington Post published the story about Moore on Thursday.

"These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the Washington Post on this campaign," Moore said in the statement.

The National Democrat Party? WTF?

"The National Democratic Party of Germany is a far-right and ultra-nationalist political party in Germany"

He is stupid, and very confused.

Typical Republican.

Denial of truth.

Blame the Democrats and the press.

Refuse to take personal responsibility for his actions.

When I was in school, and anyone was sent to the principal's office, these sorts of juvenile excuses always amounted to disciplinarian action. They would not buy anoy of this sort of nonsense.

Part of this is just ludicrous and offensive.

The other part is that this person"pResident" has absolutely zero sense of correctness.

This implies a very low frontal brain development - akin to being arrested at 4 or 5 years - with very little ability to restrict impulsive behaviors. (IANAN). I wonder what happened in poor Trumpie's childhood development to make him under-developed. Parental neglect or worse? Maybe he should seek out a second opinion, other than the kook docteur.

Isn't that what their "owners" want? The worse their craven behavior, the better the blackmail and venal payments have an effect.

Still reminds me of the cats that can infect a rodent so it becomes brazen and stoooopid and thus easily captured/eaten.

The question may be: Does the 'uglican party attract these types, or does attending a 'uglican rally lead to the infection? Is there a way to influence how people will act based on chemical/biological agents? My guess is that the Kremlin and Langley and others know the answer.

(x-posted from another thread on the same topic)

A guy with a gun showed up at a pizza place without a basement to investigate far right wing fringe website conspiracy theories of a Clinton/Podesta-run child prostitution ring run out of its (non-existent, remember) basement. People are STILL showing up at Trump election rallies wearing Pizzagate gear for a conspiracy theory that just can't possibly have happened by all the laws of physics. And now Roy Moore has credible accusations of child molestation about him, and what do we get from his backers on the far right?

Meanwhile, Moore is the one who believes that being gay should be illegal in order to protect the children of America. The tired, stale, disgusting right wing trope that homosexual men are pedophiles, when it seems that the most common bond between the most recent high-visibility pedophiles is that they're all right wingers. Roy Moore, Milo Yiannopoulos, Dennis Hastert.

And I 100% guarantee that on Fox tonight, it will be wall-to-wall coverage of Louis CK. They can point to a liberal like Louis CK being a super creep and never have to look into their own backyard of misogyny, harassment, and molestation. I can't even coherently put together all of the strings of hypocrisy coming together on all of this. They'll jump on Hillary for taking Weinstein's money, but dismiss Roy Moore's behaviour as "southern courting customs."

Truly, we live in fact-free times. IOKIYAR might as well be printed on all US bills, at this point.

My mom taught me we weren't poor white trash. We were tacky. Poor white trash know what they do is wrong. We tacky people THOUGHT we were doing things right.

One of my uncles was just named "baby" until he started school and the school made him get a name (wait for it - he got first name Bonaparte middle name Lafayette, we just called him BL.) Another of my uncles was called CF. The Navy in WW II made him pick a full name he took Charles Fillmore. I had a real name but to everybody I was just Butch. My first teacher made me use my real name, a kinda fancy sounding name ending Jr. Only because my mom was 100% sure I would be a girl and after 2 days the nurse told her she had to name me or she would. My mom picked my dads name with Junior at the end because she had no other idea for a boy name. In school I went from a bully who knocked every one's milk over to a bookish person who ultimately graduated near the top of my class at Yale. And got a couple more degrees too. I really think the forced name change made that possible. And that was exactly why Mrs Laughbon made me use a more civilized name.
