Jake Tapper just eviscerated Marty Connors, the former AL GOP Chairman!

Gawd, that was a thing of beauty!

Connors tried to besmirch WaPo's credibility.

Tapper: What's the matter with the WaPO? It's one of the best papers in the country. Connors couldn't reply.

Connors blathers on about the Post's credibility, and all Tapper has to do is ask what, specifically, Connors is talking about.

This isn't rocket surgery, but most of the talking chuckleheads in the media seem purely incapable of asking a simple question. Good for Tapper to stop everything and ask for one example of what Connors is trying to lie about. It's all you have to do, intrepid reporters. You'll find that your guests don't know what they're talking about. Why you have them on in the first place remains a mystery, but I'll take one isolated miracle at a time.
