At the appropriate moment, the hen cuckoo flies down to the host's nest, pushes one egg out of the nest, lays an egg and flies off.
I find nature fascinating. How about you?

Recently I watched a three part series (PBS? National Geographic?
) about penguins. THAT was an incredible lesson in evolution, event though it was simply intended as a discourse on penguins.

Its spectacularly impressive that nature provides this cuckoo trick. It is so much more awesome than flying faster than a speeding bullet or the other puny super powers in the comics.
Evolution is so spectacular its easy to understand why so many cant believe it exists.
