Guess what? A large majority (75%) of DUers are opposed to repealing the 2nd Amendment. What that means is obvious. There is no will to do that, despite these incidents. So, the bottom line is that such a repeal is not a realistic expectation. It won't happen.

Other avenues need exploring, since that one's a dead end.

6. I was being facetious.

My point was that the theater killer who's spawning all these gun discussions used more than guns. He had bombs in his apartment to kill TONS of people living around him. He had riot gear, gas bombs, and God knows what else.

We could completely outlaw guns and we'd just have had a lot of people getting blown up. We almost did anyway.

Psycho people are deadly fucking psycho, guns or not.
