Keurig pulled advertising from Hannity. In response the bots and deplorables are pushing #boycott keurig on twitter.

but it is backfiring as real americans are using the hashtag to mock the pathetic effort by the limited number of deplorables.

So, some posts started showing up on Twitter announcing that they would no longer purchase keurig coffee systems.

The company now seems to be getting more support than criticism in many of the tweets.

I never bought into the over rated Keurig scam. There are many alternative ways to brew a single cup of coffee that are far cheaper.

I'm still not going to buy into any Keurig products, and while I don't follow news about Hannity, kudos to any advertisers who jump off the Fox News clown car.

I hate lukewarm coffee, but that's what all the automatic drip systems can deliver. Once the coffee is brewed, there is no more heat and it cools off rapidly once it hits a cold pot or cup. My preference is a percolator, it always delivers steaming hot coffee in any quantity I need.

A percolator?

Just about the worst thing you could do to coffee.

Yuch! Yuch!

I also have a drip into a thermos. Keeps it hot for a few hours.

I love seeing Keurig in a waiting room! I would not have one at home.

Coffee that sits on a burner is ruined in just a few minutes, cannot stand it.

It grinds and will actually make the drinks...does the milk too. but I actually prefer to make my drinks by hand so I have a milk frother as well. I like wine but coffee is my addiction! I also have an nespresso for if we travel. They have biodegradable cups and I have an extra frother...took it in my luggage when I went to Atlanta and then Carolina for two weeks. They opened my suitcase in Atlanta...and just looked at me...I guess they though it might be a bomb...the boss person was called and he obviously like coffee too...as he said 'for God sakes it is a coffee machine and a frother; Let her go". I was actually forced to use a wheelchair as I had twisted my knee a couple of weeks before and couldn't walk that far so it was quite a spectacle...was determined not to miss a family reunion with my brothers and sisters.

It's San Francisco Bay coffee company French Roast (also available on the coffee company's web site). The pods are able to go into our yard waste container and be composted by the local commercial-scale facility. The compost is then sold to local gardeners.

Costs right around $.30 per cup, but Costco had them on sale last week...box of 100 for about $25, and I really like the coffee.

We also have a set of reusable pods that we use for some specialty coffees we have. (We're trying to avoid as much single-use plastic as possible, since a huge amount of it winds up in our increasingly-fragile ocean ecosystem.)

I hesitated for years because of the trash issues, then succumbed a year ago when Costco had a pre-Christmas sale on the prior model. It finally quit recently after a while series of brownouts and outages that I suspect fratzed its electronic components. Costco, bless them, took it back and I bought the upgrade.

I still keep the actual electric coffee pot in my cupboard, as well as a carafe system you can pour boiling water thru. That old carafe worked quite well during a power outage related to a major earthquake 100 miles away, because our gas lines were in no way affected. Sadly, the house we just bought a few months ago has a dandy gas stove with an electronic ignition -- so no boiling water when the electricity goes out.

I think you can tell I have given my caffeine supply considerable thought over the years.
