My future son in law just said Trump

negotiated the release of the UCLA players. I'm not finding anything that supports that conclusion. Ugh he's somewhat right wing no telling where he's getting his information.

1. This did happen. It's probably the "big" announcement is going to make tomorrow.

Well, I don't think 45 had anything to do with their release other than China using the players as pawns to make him look good so that he would ignore the new trade deal everybody bordering the Pacific joined except the US.

Sounds typical that he would go to bat for them if so.

Maybe you could talk to your daughter about what it will be like after 10 years of Thanksgiving and Christmases with a right winger???

Young black males being followed in stores, and China being quite a hostile place for black people..

I was going by there was supposed to be video of them shoplifting at 3 different stores according to ESPN. If so.. but I can see Trump trying to make himself look better by getting them off without paying a penalty. If they really were shoplifting I think it's wrong to let them off scott free so he can buy favor.

6. They were shoplifting. No point causing a commotion over a minor thing. If SHitler attempts

to make this some kind of diplomatic coup even more people are going to laugh at him...it was two kids alledgedly shoplifting. Happens all the time. When does a president get involved..unless it is a pathetic attempt at ego boosting. Yet nary a word about Chinese political prisoners and dictatorship.

What an embarrassment.

They were there with the team, participating in exhibition games against Chinese teams.

14. Was this before or after Trump declared China a currency manipulator on his first day in office?

I'm sure that he did negotiate this, and all it took was 3.5 million American jobs.
