Let's Check: Why would anyone so demand the resignation of Sen Franken?

https://www.alfranken.com/issues/consumers_privacy_netneutrality/

Of course. The vote on Net Neutrality is coming soon.
Typical RW smear for self promotion.

CONSUMERS, PRIVACY, & NET NEUTRALITY

Al has become one of the Senate’s foremost champions for consumers, leading the fight to keep cable, Internet, and cell phone rates low; preserve the free flow of information in America; and oppose corporate actions that would threaten our privacy, our anti-trust laws, or our democracy.

Drawing on his experience in the media industry, Al has taken a leadership role in opposing the recent trend towards media consolidation—fighting against mergers that would lead to less choice and higher prices for Minnesota consumers carefully watching their cable, Internet, and cell phone bills.

Al is also the Senate’s leading defender of net neutrality—the principle that the Internet should be free and open to everyone, and that content should move at the same speed online no matter who owns it.
Telecom corporations are intent on changing the rules so that they can prioritize content they own or select—but this would give a few powerful corporations far too much control over what Minnesotans can see and do online, and

Al regards protecting the free and open Internet as the most important First Amendment issue of our time.

Minnesota families are also concerned with their privacy online, especially as the advent of new technology outpaces existing privacy protections in our laws.

As the chairman of a new subcommittee charged with protecting our privacy rights in an era of evolving technology, Al is devoted to ensuring that consumers are treated fairly—and that families can count on effective privacy protections.
He is fighting to protect families’ privacy by passing legislation to crack down on “stalking apps” that can track a person’s location for sale to advertisers or worse.

Meanwhile, Al remains deeply concerned about the effects of the Citizens United decision, which opened the floodgates for corporations to buy our elections. MORE ..

Much more info tells us THIS is the reason for the coordinated smears against Franken.
Anyone calling for his resignation or accusing without proof via his self-ordered investigation, is questionable as to their motives.

This is not about sex.
This is not about weak accusations & photoshopped pics.
This is about stacking the deck in favor of killing NN.
However it needs to be done.

This is how the RW and those buying & repeating their lies gave us Trump.

Mind you all, Roger Stone & Fox News was behind the push for Tweedon to start the smear rolling.

Sen Franken is the strongest fighter for Net Neutrality.
That is why they want him gone.

Not a stronger, more dedicated Senator we have in DC where NN & Citizens United are on the table.

He's been championing this particular cause for a few years.
They cannot defeat him any other way but a manufactured, well coordinated smear campaign against him.

This is how they weaken & cast doubt on our greatest fighters for the good of American society.

They are predictable in their methods.

and then measure the facts against that position .... something doesn't add up with accusations against Franken. The more that comes out the less I believe the women and this is a rare change for me.

Therefore they must find ways not only to shut him down. Also, the obvious attempt to dilute the heinous pedophelia of Roy Moore by trying to draw unnatural parallels, cannot be ignored

Answer this, why was it Hubbard Broadcasting that broke this Groping Story? Why did Richard Painter say, there are Roy Moore Republican Operatives floating around the Twin Cities? Where is Vin Weber and Norm Coleman?

Al is one of the Few Democrats that are effective in truly tearing holes in the Republican Lies.

this seat to be be a toss up. There are two other republican senate seats that are vulnerable, one in Arizona and one in Nevada. If all thee go to Democrats then we flip the senate, and start to stop the hemorrhaging of our republic. They are trying to perfume the moral rot that is Roy Moore with an orchestrated hit job an Al Franken. They want to show the good voters of Alabama that they might as well vote for a pedophile because nobody is free from sin but at least Moore isn’t an atheist Jew liberal. (Sarcasm. I’m presenting their way of thinking, not mine.)

wouldn't the Rethuglicans have used them to literally knock Al out of the race against Norm Coleman way back when? Have you already forgotten that it was the better part of a YEAR before Al got to take office?

One of the alleged events hadn't happened.

Your logic is specious. For example it would mean Denny Hastert obviously didn't molest kids because Democrats didn't use it against him.

Franken has the smarts to make Jeffy the fool without him even knowing it.
Franken ran a one man sting op on Sessions.

Sessions himself probably called on Fox News to run a smear story on Franken.
