I'm almost worn out on posting "Trump lied, Trump played golf, Trump insulted someone" content here.

I'm feeling a little like Alec Baldwin, when he said that he was sitting on the fence about continuing his impression because Trump is just an asshole, not a decent guy with flaws, and it takes away the satisfaction of impersonating him.

I woke up this morning and the Raw Story home page is a shitstorm of new ridiculousness:

‘He creates his own reality’: Trump telling friends Mueller’s probe will conclude by year’s end

‘He’s a bigot and he’s governing like a bigot’: Princeton professor spells out the truth behind Trump’s ‘Pocahontas’ slur

Laura Ingraham plays racist ‘war whoops’ to defend Trump’s ‘Pocahontas’ slur and insult Navajo Code Talkers

Here’s how Trump will ultimately betray his own voters — and he’s already begun

CNN rolls stunning clip pointing out similarities between ‘The Apprentice’ and Trump’s Democrat meeting stunt

And I figure why post if the conclusion is that Trump is a corrupt, bigoted asshole who is unfit for office? We already know that, how is MORE information going to bring any NEW information to the discussion?

Anyone else feeling that way?

It's beyond our limits and boundaries. The focus needs to be on doing what we can to prevent any action that will have long-term negative results for the country - such as the current tax legislation.

I think that's what makes this so much harder to deal with too.

Too much constant stress is bad for everyone, for some of us battling serious health issues it's even worse, so for now...
I check DU/Tweet for an hour or two while I drink my two mugs of coffee, have cut essay back on reading other politics oriented emails/pages & watching the news and am concentrating heavily on our home remuddle/holiday decorating, lovin on hubby/my furkids, working on my art and hanging out with nice quiet dead people on Ancestry's family trees and doing more genealogy research of my now found bio-family.

I always felt the same under Bush, but just when I'd calm down, he'd always find some new way to hit my buttons.

I feel your pain and understand completely why you would welcome feeling numb.
