Who doesn't usually pay attention to national news people, would say when Lauer came on ...there is the s*** who ran off that girl who was so good ( hubby is 79 anyone who is under 50 is girl or boy). He was happy to see Lauer go like that.

I'd like to see Linda Ellerbee again. I always enjoyed the way she presented the news and did interviews. She is well into retirement now and I doubt she left due to any harassment allegations but it would be good to see her occasionally.

Her sob sister routines always annoyed the hell out of me.
She was canned in a brutal way but I would not be happy if they brought her back.
Hoda Kotbe is a bit too mushy but lots better than Ann.

I suspect some network executives had a blind spot for him because he reminded them of themselves and their friends, and they think they are quite likable.
