If Trump's plan is to get rid of Mueller, what is the first thing he will do?

He cannot outright fire him, on his own, can he?

So would he ask Deputy Atty-General Rod Rosenstein to get rid of him?

Or would he ask Jeff Sessions to tender his resignation immediately and attempt to nominate another Atty-General without the restrictions of Jeff Sessions?

Do you think this is something that he has not thought about?

Or do you think it is not possible for him to get rid of Mueller because the Republicans would impeach him?

Rest assured Mueller has already thought about three months ago and has a contingency plan

IMHO, I don't think he's trying to fire him. He and Devin Nunes are going to try to undermine him. Watch Nunes in the coming days and weeks.

And Hannity has said something is coming tomorrow. They are all coordinating this hit job.

IMHO, I think Trump and his cronies think they can't stop the Mueller indictments from coming. So they are going to try to convince their own supporters that the charges are politically motivated.

Proof that Mueller and the FBI are on a political witch-hunt and that it is time for the House and Senate to shut down the investigations?

Ref: Saturday night massacre. Impeachment takes time. Firing just takes finding a wannabe (aka a borkabe).

He's more of a burn the pool hall down kinda guy. My money is on him making an announcement Mueller is fired, sending U.S. Marshals to board up the office and telling anyone who cries "no authority" to f*** off and count on Congress to do nothing.

The U.S. Marshalls will be at the office at dawn. As staff arrive, marshalls will confiscate all electronics, id badges and tell the staff to go home. Then they lock up the office.

said it would happen this weekend.

I don't think he will do it, mainly because it is too late for even slick Donny to get away with that. Besides, there are any number of investigators on the trail who could pick up the scent.

Court Orders still to be opened? The Investigation Team will continue to file cases and produce Evidence to GD's and Courts for action.

If Trump is Stupid enough to fire Mueller. It could take more than a year to establish a Independent Counsel, which possible take tell 2019 in order to firm up. Dicey Politics for the Rethugs on this one. Loss of the House and Senate during the Mid's will surely cause Trump and Pence to bail before Jail.
