A Friendly Reminder for Republicans

As the holidays come to a close and the Christmas decorations come down, we will be starting the “merriest season” of them all: the lead-up to the 2018 midterm elections.

In the spirit of THAT hallowed season, we will be reminding our fellow citizens that the lying, racist, pussy-grabber occupying our White House was put there by the Republican party.

We will be reminding our family, friends, neighbours and coworkers that the Republican party not only elected an incoherent, mentally incompetent idiot to our nation’s highest position, but continued to support and defend him throughout all of the havoc he has wreaked on us, and the world at large.

We will be reminding everyone we come in contact with, everyone we strike-up a conversation with, everyone we meet in our daily lives, that the Republican party has done nothing for the benefit of the citizenry, and has done everything possible to advance the interests of rich individuals and corporations.

We won’t waste any opportunity to point out that the Republican party has attempted to take away people’s healthcare, and are now trying to pass “tax reform” that will raise taxes on the middle-class in order to give tax-cuts to the wealthiest among us.

We will remind those struggling to live on the minimum wage that the Republican party has fought against any raise in that wage, while they live large on their taxpayer-funded salaries and benefits.

We will remind our fellow citizens that the Republican party is comprised of self-serving grifters who have not only lined their own pockets at the expense of their constituents, but have lied – repeatedly and without hesitation – to the people who elected them to represent their needs.

We will remind our communities that the Republican party has fought relentlessly to dismantle legislation that protects our environment, and has kow-towed to corporations that destroy our beautiful country for the sake of higher profits.

We will remind our acquaintances that the the Republican party’s “pResident” is under investigation for colluding with our enemies, the Russians, in order to be elected, and we will remind them of the overwhelming evidence that he did so.

We will remind everyone we meet that the Republican party’s “pResident” has spent his time in office tweeting nonsense, playing golf, and watching TV, while being laughed at and shunned by the global community. We will remind them that thanks to the Idiot-in-Chief, our standing in the world has plummeted, and our allies are distrustful of his every word.

We will remind every “good Christian” we encounter that the Republican party stands up for pedophiles like Ray Moore, while ignoring the plight of the sick, the homeless, and the hungry – the very people Christ admonished them to care for.

We will remind the minorities among us – the Mexicans, the Muslims, the disabled, et al – that the Republican party continues to support and defend a “pResident” who has labelled them rapists, drug dealers, terrorists, and has openly mocked them.

We will remind women and the GLBT community that at every turn, the Republican party has sought to diminish their rights.

We will remind would-be voters that the Republican party has done everything in its power to prevent them from exercising their Constitutional right to vote.

The coming midterms will not be a war waged by using snappy political ads, and the smoke-and-mirrors obfuscation the Republican party has traditionally relied upon.

The 2018 midterms will be a word-of-mouth battle fought at kitchen tables, office water-coolers, and factory lunchrooms. It is a war that will be waged at truck stops, PTA meetings, union workshops, and community events.

It is a war the Republican party will enter without a single weapon available to defend themselves – simply because they have no defence for their anti-American, anti-middleclass, anti-worker positions. They cannot point to a single policy they’ve supported that advances the interests of the majority of their fellow citizens. They cannot proffer a single instance in which they’ve taken the side of the American people over the side of the corporations and the wealthy that fund their political elections.

This IS war. And those of us who are prepared to enter into the fray can have an incredible impact by simply REMINDING our fellow countrymen of who is on their side, as opposed to the actions and statements of the Republican party, who have amply demonstrated their complete disdain for the hard-working Americans who relied on them to do the right thing.

The Republican party IS the enemy of the American people, and we will not hesitate to spread the word. There is no need to be confrontational, argumentative, or combative – we need only remind our fellow citizens what is being done to them by the Republican party. We require no other weapon; we need no further additions to our arsenal.

We already have the truth and the facts on our side, along with the obvious lies and deceit the Republican party has engaged in to the detriment of the masses.

We already KNOW that the “pResident’ the Republican party continues to support is a Russian puppet who will do the bidding of our enemies. We already know that the evidence of his collusion is overwhelming, and continues to become more apparent by the day. We already know that your “president’s” crimes against his own country are too obvious to ignore.

All WE Democrats have to do is REMIND our fellow citizens of the obvious – and we will do so every chance we get.

Resistance is organizing and stepping up efforts to stop the bill. IT IS NOT OVER! KEEP calling, our voices were being heard but the media has been distracted. This is our BIGGEST PRIORITY for the next few weeks. I was part of the nation wide phone call today and social media and getting the word to the MSM is crucial.

...inflicted against the American middle class?

I think we should remind people that the REPUBLICAN Party was behind all of the evil inflicted against the American middle class. We want the voters to go into the voting booth thinking that the REPUBLICAN Party was behind all of the evil inflicted against the American middle class. Because the REPUBLICAN Party WAS behind all of the evil inflicted against the American middle class.
