The only way trump is going to be impeached is if Democrats take back the House, and the only chance

we have for a conviction is if we have the majority in the Senate.

While the Senate requires a 2/3 majority to convict, the psychological aspects of a Democratic win in both the House and Senate will have republicans re-evaluating their support of trump, and would raise the odds of a conviction if trump is impeached.

Unless we regain the majority in Congress, trump is not going to be impeached, and the odds that another Gorsuch appointment is greatly increased.

While 2016 was the election that really mattered, the only way the draconian path the country is taking can be stopped is if Democrats win at least one of the Houses in 2018

But I agree with you on the impeachment. The only way I can see them impeaching him before the 2018 elections is after him signing the tax bill.

We need the votes before we impeach in both houses...otherwise it is a waste of time and money...backfires on us.

That’s a political calculus that is irrelevant to the point that this administration got to go. To not push for impeachment In the face of the wanton reckless behavior of the White House is to abdicate the constitutional duty of our congress.

It likely won't be enough for an impeachment, but real hearings and investigations will be full on if the Dems can retake both houses.
