Trump: "I feel badly for General Flynn. I feel very badly. ... Hillary Clinton lied many times ..."

At least Trump and Russia are consistently on the same page!

Russia hits back over 'completely absurd' Flynn allegations
Emma Burrows, CNN VIDEO -- December 4, 2017
Moscow (CNN) -- Russia has labeled allegations that former US national security adviser Michael Flynn attempted to persuade then-Russian Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak to ask Moscow to not retaliate to US sanctions in December 2016 as "completely absurd." ...........

dKos: Trump whines: So unfair disgraced National Security Advisor's lies to the FBI 'destroyed his life'
By Jen Hayden -- Dec 04, 2017

Departing the White House for Utah, where Donald Trump will announce an early Christmas present to the Koch brothers and other swamp benefactors by announcing a massive rollback of the Bears Ears National Monument, he stopped for a minute to answer questions for the press. After a nonsensical rambling about tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, the stock market and states’ rights, Trump responded to a question about Michael Flynn and offered up a defense of the disgraced former National Security Advisor—sure he lied, but it is so unfair it ‘destroyed his life!’ And something, something, lock her up! ...........

Trump’s claims Hillary Clinton lied to the FBI are completely false, as noted by then FBI Director James Comey, despite the fact that Republicans were hellbent on trying to tie her to such a charge in one fruitless investigation after another.

Hillary Clinton did not lie to FBI investigators during their probe into her use of a private server as secretary of state, FBI Director James Comey testified Thursday.

"We have no basis to conclude she lied to the FBI," Comey told House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) during one of the hearing's opening exchanges.

Trump’s continued attacks on Hillary Clinton, more than one year after the 2016 is pathological madness and a true disgrace to the nation. Let. It. Go.

I assume Mueller has a strategy to address the potential of Trump pardoning his cooperating witnesses.

Boy, they'd get Hillary Clinton then, boy! Lock her up, as soon as they have an actual criminal charge that they can prove in a court of law, instead of just on Trump's say-so.

I know I'm just some guy with an internet connection, but can't any of those well-compensated reporters think to ask President Trump for an example of when Hillary Clinton lied to the FBI? Just one? Because there are several public statements from James Comey and Republican congressman that they have no evidence that Clinton ever lied to the FBI. Does Trump have anything? Anything at all? Or id he just irresponsibly throwing around accusations to take the focus off himself? Surely the bulldogs of our Fourth Estate wouldn't be so easily fooled! Right?

But, maintaining a polarized political environment is paramount to hanging in there a few days longer for Trump. He sees the end and knows his days are numbered now that Flynn has given Mueller everything. His true believers will never read the nuanced reasoning about this though, they have moved on to Roy Moore's phone call, and then to Utah and destroying that black guy Obama's legacy.

that the FBI said that she told the truth.

She was referring to the fact that the FBI said she told the truth in her interview with them. The media acted like that was an insane interpretation of her remarks, and downplayed the relevance of whether or not she told the truth to the FBI.

Actually, it was insane for Comey and the FBI to be assessing Hillary's past public statements and trying to decide whether she was worthy of being considered honest in their esteemed opinions.
