Breitbart: Urban Elites Dont Understand That Roy Moore Dating Teenagers Isnt Against Social Norms

“The media and the Democrats are piling on with allegations about Roy Moore wanting to date teenagers—it’s not illegal and at the time it wasn’t even a violation of social norms because unless you’re an urban elite provincial who doesn’t understand that there are different societies within America, 40 years ago it was not unheard of for a 30-year-old man to look for a much younger wife. And if he was trying to date a 16- or 17-year-old, I’m uncomfortable with that—I’ll admit that—but it’s not illegal. It’s not a violation of social norms.” – Breitbart columnist John Nolte, speaking this morning on their SiriusXM channel.

How does that sound, John Nolte? Let's hear from you on that.

I do not want to hear from apologists for Roy Moore who write for Breitbart! That should have no place here, in my opinion.

It has always been a "violation of social norms" for adults in their 30s to be feeling up 14-year-olds. It has never not been that.

Fuck Breitbart!

What the F is an "urban elite provincial?" Isn't that an oxymoron? Especially when the author is attempting to argue that "provincials" saw nothing wrong with Moore's dating teens...

He married his 13 yr old cousin and was roundly blacklisted by radio, dropped by Dick Clark and lost tens of thousands of dollars.

And this was back in 1958, too. Way longer than 40 years ago.

...flipped out if I had been approached by a man in his 30s when I was 16, in 1963. There was a curfew so strict that when my boyfriend's car got stuck in an unpaved parking lot and had to be towed out, all 4 of us in that car were grounded by our parents for getting home past midnight.

What kind of fantasy-world is this monster trying to construct to excuse his predatory behavior 40 years ago? What kind of disgusting people believe him, or at least are willing to overlook his behavior, because in their benighted souls Democrat has become such a dirty word?

I thought that country boys over 21 knew better than to mess around with underaged girls. After all their daddies might be awaiting at the property line with a shotgun, and even before the NRA became so successful in recent decades, there was no telling what Mama might do.
