And we'll be right back where we were before with the woman always on the defensive.
Better be careful and make sure the claims are real and not some O'Keefe put up job or the whole move towards more justice will be shattered.
And you can be sure there will be a tidal wave of right wing manufactured accusations soon because they see how effective they are at removing competent Democratic adversaries.
If we jump to the conclusion that all claims are true without an investigation we are just handing a major tool to the GOP to tear our party apart and set back the possibility of justice for actual claims.
That's why I think there should always be an actual investigation and verifying facts before condemning.

(841 posts)If Franken resigns it will signal to the dirty tricksters that sexual harassment claims are a good way to destroy politicians and they will try to seek out or possibly fabricate claims in order to destroy the careers of politicians they dislike. The result will be that the public will become skeptical of ALL sexual harassment claims. I think this might end up setting the cause of sexual harassment victims back because of the "boy who cried wolf" effect.
