I saw him speak not long before his crash. Very inspiring. You could tell he loved what he was doing. Tragic.

I still believe in my core that he was deliberately killed, to silence him and send a message to any others who thought they should be strong in supporting the rights of the common people against the moneyed elite.

We may never know what caused the crash. For sure. I thought at the time it was suspicious.

He had just announced his opposition to the Iraq War. A position that, in a tight election race, was a courageous stand at that time. Your post brings back sad memories.

We need more heroes like that. He was more than a politician. And we need more Republican heroes too. His death was incredibly heart breaking, still is.
