Joe Scarborough - Trumps mental meltdown

Donald Trump spent much of 2016 questioning his opponent’s stamina to be president of the United States. But it is now Trump’s own fitness that is being scrutinized by friends and foes alike. After Trump spent recent weeks creating a level of chaos unseen around the White House since Richard Nixon’s resignation in 1974, Capitol Hill politicians and media outlets are quietly questioning whether Trump is fit for the highest office in the land. That the commander in chief slurred his way through the end of a speech on Jerusalem Wednesday was just the latest in a string of unsettling incidents.

Many who move through his orbit believe Trump is not well. That is a verdict that was reached long ago by many of the president’s own staff. More than a few politicians and reporters across Washington have shared similar fears.

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) openly questioned Trump’s competence and suggested that administration officials are doing little more than running “an adult day care center.” The chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee also expressed fear that the president’s erratic behavior is putting the United States “on the path to World War III.”

The secretary of state reportedly called the president a “moron.”

Plain and simple. tRUMP has already proven that he's nothing but a racist bigot, especially against Obama and anything that has to do w/ any of Obama's achievements, even if they were truly genuinely a positive thing for the country.

The GOP, despite all of the yelling and screaming it has engaged in over the last 7 years has proven itself to be incompetent in governing (nothing to replace the ACA act during the numerous repeal attempts, recent tax bill and all of the mistakes in the tax bill).

One thing we have going for us, it wasn't the GOP that won. It was the Russians pushing tRUMP, and via fraudulent means, tRUMP won via election fraud and election interference, plain and simple. The GOP just happen to be there on stage at the same time...

And his opponents infuriated.

The real action is happening with court packing and congress quietly moving to destroy what democracy we have left. In the not too distant future we will have a privately owned national police force.

Trump is needed only to keep peoples’ eyes elsewhere while the dismantling of America is completed.

Never considered this. He MUST be driven in shame and defeat from the WH. Disgrace is the only thing that he fears. Well, and being discovered to be broke.

As long as Trump retains enough manual dexterity to sign his name to the horses#$t legislation they send him, the Republican Congress will back him on everything.

that is all...

Reagan was mostly a figurehead his last year or so in office as well. They can keep Trump going until Democrats retake the House and maybe the Senate.

Joe Scarborough and Bob Corker are being quoted, yet again, in a positive light on this site. And, this is not to speak ill of those who are posting those quotes. I just never thought I'd live to see these two on "our side."
