1. I think Dems need every vote they can get right now. That helps. But as far as comittee stuff

I think that he'd be heckled or harassed too much. Unless there's a fair investigation, we won't know anything. And the GOP is never going to play fair.

To lay out what he did and did not do. Only then can he put it past him.

and say what is accurate and what is inaccurate. He can point out what is bullshit in an entertaining way, and that will serve him and the truth well.

7. He resigned, he cannot 'unresign' and maintain any credibility

There is more to this story. Our Senate Dems loyalty to Al was superficial at best. The calls for Al to resign flared up like a California wildfire. Al must have made some real enemies, especially with the women in the Senate, they saw a chance to throw him 'off the island' and they jumped on it.
It's too bad because Franken was our strongest voice in the Senate.

10. He should stand up to the railroading and say he has reconsidered.

He would be respected as one not to be easily disarmed. The internet is clear that he was shoved out by well meaning party members who were trying to play the harassment vote in their favor. He should simply ride along and wait until someone mentions that it is time to go. It would likely be a republican rather than one of the 30 democrat senators that before said he should resign. At that time, a check of the landscape may indicate the foolishness of a Democrat stepping down while Trump and Moore remain.

Franken doesn't need to say anymore about his accusers. He said he was sorry they felt harassed but disagreed with what happened. I don't think anyone would expect him to remember every photo shoot. Recently Senator Warren visited my area and stood with about 600 different people for a photo after she spoke. The Leeann Tweeden charges are a joke.

He would now win it in a landslide.

He could make MN a model to replicate at the federal level.
