I saw a tweet the other day that said "the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing half the population they are Christian patriots.". So true!

who are probably getting some form of federal assistance - No wonder Alabama has no interest in improving their schools or quality of life of their citizens. Nothing that group said gave me hope for the future of Alabama.

overweight white person. I'm collecting on my Social Security, so to bigots intent on insulting me that means on "some form of federal assistance." I am a Georgia resident these days, and it's also common for political bigots to dishonestly characterize "us" as having no interest in improving schools or quality of life of ourselves.

That's extremely offensive. Since you don't see it, I challenge you to repost your exact same words, inly replacing "white" with "black," and see what that gets you. If you need help, I can go find a video of some old fat ignorant black people for inspiration. I'm sure there are plenty available.

Political bigotry is not only just as real as racial and religious, all come from exactly the same place: inside ourselves. Which should be sobering since we're all proud of being free of bigotry here.

Can't make apologies for each and every person out there - If you think I or the post was insulting YOU directly , you are taking it all too personally.

If you can't see my post was about that select group and you internalized them and made the connection that you too are old, overweight , white and a Georgia resident - then ----

Are you a troll??

and I'm not ready to be banned.

So deny away. Denial's never been more popular than it is now, found everywhere in every corner and under every rock of social media.

But you smeared the 45+% of Alabamans who want Doug Jones with the same contempt you did Moore followers. And that's reality.

No wonder Alabama has no interest in improving their schools or quality of life of their citizens. ~ Packman

The guy talking about voting against your best interests regarding Black voters is apparently overlooking the fact that people he is so eager to elect (or did help elect) are poised to enact legislation in the form of tax cuts that will ultimately hurt HIM. Unless he is in the 1%, he can expect no help from the so called tax cuts. If they start monkeying around with Medicare and Social Security, you will hear his howls all the way to the halls of Congress. Most of those panel members were older and either on Social Security or not far from it. Talk about voting against your best self interests?!

They have been brainwashed to have a ready answer for anything Luntz asked them. So what if many women came forward to accuse Moore of inappropriate behavior when they were teens? They should have spoken up sooner. They were paid to make the accusations. THEY are liars. You must believe Moore. Besides, back in “those days in Alabama” it was common for older men to pursue younger women. A parent would be “thrilled” to have their teenage daughter hit on by a 32 year old DA. Do they even hear themselves??

I will be so glad when Tuesday is over. It is disgusting to hear people, especially women, admit that they were treated inappropriately as teens but now defend such behavior for political reasons.
In order to justify voting for someone so vile as Moore, they have to play mind games with themselves. A sad time has come to America and I believe we can thank tRump and those who supported him for bringing us to this place. I hope the people of Alabama will surprise all of us and elect Doug Jones, but I won’t hold my breath.

. . . was that they all seemed to believe what they were saying, and none of them saw the irony or the contradictions.

I was kinda hoping he asked their respective sources for news and information.
