I'm off to eat Brisket, Fried Onions, Latkes, and all sorts of wonderful veggies.
Light a light tonight and remember. It's always darkest before the dawn.

(1,639 posts)That, "It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness."
The people here who still believe in the value of humanity over money are many candles.
The people giving of their time and labor to the Black Lives Matter movement are many candles.
The people donating to Planned Parenthood are many candles.
The people crying out on behalf of a torn Mother Earth are many candles.
The people of # MeToo, calling out the powerful who pervert the beauty of human sexuality are many candles.
The people living in comfort and security opening their eyes and ears and hearts to those living in fear and pain and want are many candles.
The people giving voice to the needs of future generations are many candles.
Each person, striving to be better than their former selves, reaching out to offer strength and support to one other person on the same journey is one candle.
Seven billion souls--how many long for the light? Darkness will not endure.
