Updated | One of President Donald Trump's longtime allies is foretelling doom for the commander in chief, who is embroiled in multiple controversies that threaten his office.
Political strategist Roger Stone said it's only a matter of time before special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe and the Trump sexual misconduct allegations that number well into the double digits catch up to the president.
"Its painfully obvious Mueller will bring charges," Stone told Vanity Fair."The theory is Mueller will indict him on some process-related matter.... The only people who dont seem to know it are [Trump lawyers] Ty Cobb, [John] Dowd, and the president."

(24,646 posts)Something isn't right with the shape of his head, that's for sure. That said, nothing Stone says is accidental. He's always stirring the pot.

...on the other hand, this IS Roger Stone here, so I posted the most...amazing, shall we say, photo of him I could find.
I would never post such a picture if this wasn't Roger frickin Stone.
This photo may send me straight to hell, but it's Roger frickin Stone, and his foul deeds through the decades need to be accounted for, because I am old and grumpy and had enough of this mofo!!!

(32,827 posts)When we spoke about our teacher's appearance, it was not in a mean way. He always knew we were doing it, and laughed with us. He was a good man.
Stone is a different matter. He is a despicable throwback.

(11,782 posts)investigation, Mueller will charge Trump and/or Trump Jr and/or Kushner with anything, no matter how small. Once those charges have been made, Trump will not be able to do anything about it without it looking like it is obvious (even to Republicans) that he is obstructing justice to save his own skin (or family members).
regnaD kciN
(27,546 posts)...he'll have to convince the courts (including the current SCOTUS) that a sitting president can be charged with a crime.
And I'm not sure how charging Donnie Jr. or It-Can-Only-Be-Jared would prevent The Manbaby Who Would Be King from firing Mueller. In fact, I'm pretty sure any such move would guarantee it.
