Trump Is Rumored To Be Firing Mueller Just Before Christmas - CA Reps Schiff and Speier

The pressure is apparently getting to be too much for President Trump, who is rumored to have plans of firing Mueller on Dec. 22, according to California Reps. Jackie Speier and Adam Schiff.

“The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week,” Speier said in a KQED Newsroom interview on Friday. “And on Dec. 22nd, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire Robert Mueller.”

Speier described the possible scenario as “Saturday Massacre 2.0” and said it would trigger a constitutional crisis. “Without a doubt there would be an impeachment effort,” she said.

Trump doesn't have the authority to fire Mueller but that doesn't mean he won't do it.
So what happens when the president does something he has no authority to do?
In any sane world he would be immediately impeached and removed from office.
In the current world Republicans will support his unconstitutional action wholeheartedly and try to destroy anyone who upholds the law.

A true Constitutional Crisis.

Hold onto your seats folks.
History is coming at us at a furious pace and it won't be fun.
The second civil war may be at hand.

5. Trump's lawyer Ty Cobb said Trump is not planning on firing Mueller, according to most recent info

WH Special Counsel has denied reports Trump is going to fire Mueller. CNN reported this last night:

http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/16/politics/white-house-no-plans-firing-mueller/index.htmland

(CNN)The White House repeated Saturday that President Donald Trump has no intentions of firing Department of Justice special counsel Robert Mueller amid fresh speculation from a congresswoman that he would be doing so.

"As the White House has consistently said for months, there is no consideration of firing the special counsel," Ty Cobb, the White House special counsel, told CNN in a statement.
Cobb's statement came in response to comments by California Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier, who repeated concerns Friday that Trump would fire Mueller."

Ty Cobb has been trying to keep Trump calm and convey message to public that Trump's WH is fully cooperating and has nothing to hide and is not obstructing justice and that investigation will be wrapping up soon. He has not been fighting investigation and not claimed executive privilege to prevent Trump officials from testifying and seems to be trying to prevent Trump from creating constitutional crisis.
Total contrast with other Trump lawyers and the desperate right-wingers in Congress and media trying to smear Mueller and undermine investigation.

6. He made this statement after it was revealed that Mueller had all the emails.

which could mean he he has sealed indictments everyone involved with the transition when they lied to the FBI and would be opened if Mueller is fired.

A booby trap set to explode if Trump tries to get rid of him.

The sealed indictments are Robert Mueller's protection. When his team meets with the White House lawyers this week, I'm sure Mr. Mueller will make it clear that Trump & Co. are fucked.

At least, I hope so.

We've all heard that same kind of weasel-language before. Prior to enacting shitty policies, corporations routinely offer such nonsense as "it is not our intent..."

That way, instead of cruel and cynical aggressors, they're helpless victims of circumstance.

Trump will fire Mueller if (and as soon as) he can get away with it.
