"are you planning to fire Rosenstein in order to end the Russia investigation?"

probably too complex for President Asshole, though...

Legally he can’t fire Mueller, but there’s nothing stopping him from firing Rosenstein. Once that’s done, Trump can put an Asst AG partial to his cause, and have that person fire Mueller.

and they could then fire Mueller since they'd take over the Special Counsel.

start this ball rolling around Thursday or so. You know he is just loving being in the cat bird seat and having all the drooling MSM folks asking him if he is going to fire Mueller at every opportunity.

The same guy about whom Trump told Lester Holt, "He [Rosenstein] made a recommendation, he’s highly respected, very good guy, very smart guy" ?

Rosenstein was confirmed to his position by a vote of 94-6 in the Senate with all Republicans voting for him.

Also, his letter did not really recommend firing James Comey, but he did warn Trump that "Although the President has the power to remove an FBI Director, the decision should not be taken lightly."

When a highly respected top law enforcement officer warns you about taking a certain action, you should probably heed his advice.

This is the man who got Enron, Noriega, and Gotti.

He has a fleet of attorneys who are specialized in their disciplines.

I'm sure they know very well who they're dealing with and how these criminals can be expected to act to evade punishment.
