I tweeted to Doug Jones that I hoped he was going to use attack ads against Roy Moore

If ever there was an instance where attack ads are warranted it is this election.

Roy Moore's sins are despicable and the people of Alabama need to know them. Not everyone reads the news. I bet the lead he has if from a lot of people not familiar with his views on homosexual behavior being illegal or the fact that he received all that money from a charity or that he opposes any Muslim from being a member of Congress or Senate.

I don't know who is in charge of Doug Jone's campaign but I really hope they hammer on these facts. If they don't I don't think Jones has a chance.

I don't think the people of Alabama know how horrible Roy Moore is and I think it is up to the Democrats to inform them

Plus there is a chance that Moore won the nomination for the pure reason that Trump campaigned for his opponent.

The Republicans in Washington don't even like the guy.

Roy Moore tried to fit in with Senate Republicans for a day. It didn’t work.

As he made the rounds, some of Moore’s potential future Republican colleagues strained to separate themselves from him. One even attacked him head-on in a speech on the Senate floor.

The visit offered a preview of the headaches Moore’s presence could cause for Senate Republican leaders should he prevail in a Dec. 12 special election to fill the seat once held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

“I don’t know where I’m going right now,” Moore told reporters as he exited Tuesday’s lunch and walked down a hallway near the Senate chamber before doubling back toward a bank of elevators.

4. This is no time to "go high."

I don't think that MOST Democrats understand that people like Ryan, Shelby, Graham, McConnell, tReasonous tRump and the like don't care if we DIE--literally--because those types want to take our health care away. They had 8 years to come up with something to replace O-Care with and they never DID. They only wanted to stop and obstruct the black guy. I have a friend who said Democrats don't need to stoop to thuglicans level when talking about health care, and she truly believes that explaining to people about health care like rational adults in measured tones will get us out to vote (That's if our votes count, but that's another story ). And that, we as Democrats don't need to yell and shout. I said look, thuglicans are trying to take out health care AWAY, and NOW they said some craziness about trying to tie health care to this for the rich ONLY tax cut bill they want passed, and for at least 20 million and more, losing their health care means DEATH. My friend truly doesn't get it. She's big on politeness, I'm big on staying alive and keeping my health care.

You have to tell people continually and constantly that MOST thuglicans are literally trying to kill them by taking their health care away. Keep going HIGH and we DIE.

IF you can't or don't want to get passionate, yell and scream, pitch-a-bitch about wanting to KEEP your health care, then you may as well be dead.

7. Doug Jones needs to tell the people of Alabama just that. The Republicans, all of them

are ready and willing to let them die. They work for their overlords that are going to give them money for their next election.

I can't help but think that a lot of people who vote Republican don't understand the ramifications of their vote or what they are really voting for. We need to make that clear.

2. I get these ads on a variety of networks everyday now, not just 'news.'

What voter is he targeting now?

Not black, not Democrat...

3. Democrats need to start going on the attack.

It doesn't mean they have to lie, they just have to stop being nice and start telling the truth about their opponents...

6. Can we get another rec here? We need to start winning elections!!

And I think Roy Moore is just enough crazy batshit that this election can be won. As long as people know what he is really about

Hell the Republicans in Washington can't stand the guy!
