Status of Sept. 18 referendum

I've been trying to read about the pros/cons of the General Fund transfer referendum up for vote on Tuesday.

The closest thing I've read to help me decide was the Tea Party wants to kill it. I'm assuming that means a Yes vote for me, but I'd honestly like to see everyone's opinion on this.

Thanks

Some say that a 'yes' vote helps the do-nothing repug state house reps and kicks the can down the road.

And some say a 'no' vote will throw many poor folks off of Medicaid and many other programs geared to promote the health and welfare of our citizens, but force the house and senate to make some tough choices.

I honestly don't know.

I read the 'yes' folks have $780,000 to put into TV commercials.
BTW, the referendum will cost the state $3,000,000.
