Repeal the Trump Tax RESISTANCE ACTIONS

https://repealthetrumptax.org/?source=20171221rtttemail

That’s right: Republicans are sending the most unpopular piece of legislation in modern history to President Trump’s desk for his signature. (The House will likely have a final confirmation vote today, but this is essentially a done deal.)

They ignored the hundreds of rallies, millions of calls, and countless emails, tweets, and polls showing just how much the American people hated this bill -- which only had a 26% nationwide approval rating.

Over and over this year, Republicans in Congress -- supported by Donald Trump and backed by their rich donors -- have voted to betray working families in their own states and districts.

We won’t let them get away with it -- we’ve come too far and too much is on the line.

If you’re angry, too -- add your name RIGHT NOW to say the TrumpTax MUST GO.

As disgusted as I am at Republicans right now, I’m also thankful and humbled today by the support of hundreds of thousands of folks like you who’ve made their voices heard. Many DC insiders thought Trump would get his wish for tax breaks for himself and his rich cronies MONTHS ago without anyone paying much attention, but you turned this into a FIGHT.

And we’re not stopping now -- we need you to keep up the pressure and make it clear to members of Congress who voted the wrong way that we will not forget.

That starts right now -- add your name to say Congress should repeal the TrumpTax:

Thanks so much for staying in the fight -- more soon.

Nicole Gill
Executive Director, Tax March

P.S. We’ll be hitting the road early next year on a nationwide Repeal the TrumpTax tour that will culminate with hundreds of events across the country on April 15th. Stay tuned for more details.

which it ultimately will be after one factors in the long-term effects. We must also emphasize the huge budget cuts that will be coming and the net public costs of those cuts.

can change the bill to be more reasonable and humane. We do not have the time to wait for the GOP traitors to get voted out though. Dems always have to clean up the financial, domestic and foreign affairs disasters left by the GOP in their wake, and for little to no credit, time and time again. I find it really frustrating that generations of Americans are too deplorable to realize it and vote for the GOP (hypocritical liars and greedy sociopaths) over and over like blind sheep.

we have to somehow work our way out of that viscous cycle, and I feel the Repugs are playing us (and the Nation) with that game. Each time we go through that up/down cycle, we loose a chunk of those hard-earned government functions and protections that may never be recovered.

This will never end until we somehow no longer allow money to equate to the right to power, and the right to buy or inordinately affect votes. Although there are dozens I'm sure you're aware of, for me there's no better example than the Australian media magnate Rupert Murdoch.

What right does an Australian that made much of his original fortune selling trashy tabloids in Britain and Australia have to strongly influence America's political thinking and dialog, and our voting? In my book, absolutely none.

So, I fear we are trapped in that viscous cycle until we a.) arrest the exponential flow of working people's capital into corporate coffers and the pockets of the wealthy, and b.) outlaw unlimited funding of political campaigns. Our campaigns need to return to the days when they were very boring and politicians had to pound the streets every day to win.

As usual, Reich clearly illustrates how this happened with Reagun in 1980 and continued. Fux Ruse needs to be regulated. It is dangerous propaganda. They are destroying the US as much, if not more so, than Putin.

I've always loved Robert's marker board chats and now he's graduated to a huge one!

Very effective and says a lot in a short time.
