Marijuana taxes exceed expectations

[link:http://www.ktva.com/story/38793080/marijuana-taxes-exceed-expectations|

Nearly a $1 million on average-- that's how much the state collected in marijuana taxes for the fiscal year that ended June 30.

June was the highest month ever, bringing in more than $1.2 million.

It was $11 million total for the 2018 fiscal year, which is higher than was forecast. In the previous fiscal, year the state collected about $1.7 million.

raising taxes on everybody?). Best part of this whole thing is that people will finally realize that marijuana use is as acceptable in society as liquor is, as long as it is under control and not while driving or operating equipment, etc.

and how they have such great social programs. The way they are able to do it is by taxing Vodka and tourism heavily. If alcohol were taxed higher (like pot is now...over 20% in my city) we could all have affordable healthcare and other "evil" socialist programs benefiting all of us.
