Expect occasional downtime over the next week or so while we upgrade our security

Over the next few days we will be implementing HTTPS, so that all of our visitors will be able to browse the site securely over an encrypted connection.

There is likely to be occasional downtime as we implement this upgrade, with little-or-no warning ahead of time. Any downtime that does occur is likely to be relatively brief.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make this change.

19. Should work fine. I think all https sites accept http and convert it to https automatically.

So your first page request via bookmark may be insecure but any browsing expanding out from there on the site is https.
