Health care worker possibly exposed to Ebola virus brought to Omaha for monitoring

An American health care worker who might have been exposed to the Ebola virus in West Africa has been taken to Omaha, according to a release issued Sunday from the Douglas County Health Department.
The worker has not shown symptoms of Ebola, and the individual will stay at a private residence and will not go out in public, according to the health department. The worker was taken to Omaha to be near the Nebraska Medical Center's biocontainment unit in the event that treatment is needed.
