The second flight recorder from the Germanwings A320 jet that crashed in the French Alps last week has been found, the Marseille prosecutor has said.

The voice recorder was found almost immediately at the site of the crash on 24 March.

Recordings taken from the first "black box" suggested co-pilot Andreas Lubitz had deliberately crashed the plane.

The plane had been carrying 150 people from Barcelona to Duesseldorf.

Search teams have spent days scouring the crash site for the second flight recorder

They've been combing through tons of rubble and rock. And, it took nine days. But, they did it.

Now, how badly damaged is it and what further info can be gleaned from it?...We'll see.

17. Breaking - they're announcing on France 24 Tee Vee that the investigators

have 'high hopes' that the data can be retrieved.

5. The only "new" thing the FDC will tell

is that the copilot deliberately set the plane on a descent. Rest is all known already.

quiet. Much better to have it than not, although so much complementary evidence is already coming out about Lubitz's mental state.
