(14,012 posts)various homes as they came crashing down. They, at least, appear to have survived, but are living for now in the neighborhood open spaces, too worried to go inside any buildings for shelter. Added to the misery, the weather has been bad...
Local families here are collecting tents and will fly there this week. And of course they are asking for donations to Red Cross and UNICEF for the relief efforts.
