Tornadoes on the ground in Oklahoma as storms hit region
Source: AP
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Another round of strong storms, including some tornadoes, is moving across the nation's midsection.
National Weather Service forecaster Daryl Williams says tornadoes touched down Saturday in southwestern Oklahoma near the towns of Elmer and near Tipton. Williams says another touched down briefly near Elk City along Interstate 40.
Williams said the tornadoes in southwestern Oklahoma were very strong, but are in largely isolated areas. He said it was too early to know how much, if any damage was caused. A police dispatcher in Tipton said there were no immediate reports of injuries.
Storms were also moving across parts of Texas, Kansas, Nebraska and Minnesota, where there were some reports of tornadoes.

I would say that it is their death penalty, or something like that.

(12,778 posts)I've come to expect it, though. I suppose whatever locale you hail from is perfect and you yourself have certainly never sinned.
Rather than saying what you deserve, I'll just say "whatever" and move on to reply to someone more important than you.

(53,936 posts)It was windy as hell and lots of thunder and lightening. My pretty, pretty princess, Marigny, was hyperventilating. She hates storms. Of course, when you are only 7 inches off the ground and weigh 5lbs, the house rumbling can be really scary. I had to make the tornado closet was ready to go. Living in OK though, you expect this.
