Queen pays first visit to Nazi death camp

The monarch and the Duke of Edinburgh will visit Bergen-Belsen during a state visit to Germany to mark the 70th anniversary of its liberation
The Queen will pay a reflective visit to the site of the Bergen-Belsen prisoner of war and concentration camps in Germany next month.
Around 70,000 victims died of starvation, overwork and disease at the camps in northern Germany, which were liberated 70 years ago by British troops.
The Queen will be joined by the Duke of Edinburgh during her tour of the site, which is now a memorial to those who died at the hands of the Nazis.
