Comer concedes to Bevin in Kentucky GOP primary

James Comer conceded the Kentucky Republican gubernatorial primary to Matt Bevin on Friday morning, one day after a recanvass showed Bevin maintaining an 83-vote lead over Comer.

Comer’s concession means the state agriculture commissioner won’t be requesting a full recount before Friday afternoon’s deadline, and Bevin will be the party’s nominee for governor.

Bevin, a businessman who unsuccessfully challenged Sen. Mitch McConnell in the GOP primary last year, will face Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway in the Nov. 3 general election.

The weeks leading up to the May 19 primary were filled with personal attacks: Comer was accused of abusing a college ex-girlfriend 20 years ago, and both Bevin and Comer said eventual third-place finisher Hal Heiner irresponsibly fanned the flames of the scandal. But Comer’s statement conceding the race signaled strong support for Bevin.

Bevin is wingnut conservative tea party type and he out conservatives Senator turtle. At Fancy farm. I thought he did a damn good job making McConnell look liberal. But lets just watch how fast this wingnut races to the center when the race gets going. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing, His running mate is a Black Female by design. He has has a number of kids, adopted and foster children of mixed race and nationalities (by design). he has a great speaking style and sense of humor. But man when he gets around to talk about what he wants to inflict on Kentucky, it's like a play book from ALEC's worst.

Undo Obama care (our successful state run KYconnect)
Right to work (Ky is a strong union state)
Destroy the public Unions (Wisconsin model)
Charter Schools
Anti abortion
Guns in the street (because Lexington isn't safe enough).

This candidate should raise a RED flag to Democrats across the state that we need tar a feather this man for the ALEC butt kisser he is.
