Progressive Groups Deliver Over 2 Million Petition Signatures Against TPP Fast Track

Progressive groups delivered more than two million petition signatures to Congress Wednesday opposing TPP fast track authority. The AFL-CIOs Eric Hauser says American workers have made their opposition to another job killing trade deal loud and clear, He says so far it appears that the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal does not address issues crucial to working families including wages, workers rights and safety. Wednesday was also a national call-in day to let Congress hear from opponents of TPP. More than 2000 organizations oppose fast-tracking the TPP trade deal. AFL-CIO President RIch Trumka says he believes opponent have enough voted in the U.S. House to stop TPP fast track.
