WRAL News poll: Obama tops Romney in NC

Source: WRAL - Raleigh, NC

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Republican field has been cleared for Mitt Romney in North Carolina's primary next week, but a new WRAL News poll shows that President Barack Obama would carry the state if the general election were held now.

. . .

SurveyUSA asked 1,636 registered voters in North Carolina who would get their vote for president if the election were held today, and Obama beat out Romney 47 to 43 percent, with 9 percent of voters still undecided. The margin of error in the poll is plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

The gender gap breaks in Obama's favor, with 50 percent of women favoring him and only 41 percent for Romney. The president also wins among younger voters, with wide leads among all groups under age 50.

Even if the popular vote is much closer than 2008 NC will be very close. NC demographics still slightly favor the gop, however it is changing to the dems. 2010 was a great year all around for the gop so that is not a foretaste to come.

As posted in my blog, forty-nine percent of respondents in NC have a favorable opinion of Obama, compared with only 28 percent for Romney. Obama's unfavorable rating was at 42 percent, while Romney's was 43 percent.

and the attack from the GOPs have just begun, BUT, they have been attacking since day one, and I think the goppers are turning off a lot of voters. So therefor, the goppers are praying for America to fail cause the goppers in the house and senate won't help the ecomony and they are really hoping for God forgive something terrible happen in the country.

The GOP party has become EVIL.

They need to ensure that only the "right" people vote.
