GOP U.S. Senate Candidate Raese Alludes To Hitler, Claims Obama Wants To Kill 4-H Youth Programs

Source: Huffington Post

WASHINGTON -- West Virginia Republican Senate candidate John Raese, who previously compared smoking bans to forcing Jews to wear the Star of David under Adolf Hitler, made another veiled reference to Nazism when talking Saturday about President Barack Obama's stance on child labor.

"Barack wants to stop all children from working on the farm. ... Can you imagine this? I just, I can't fathom that," Raese, campaigning against Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, said at a Saturday event. "Did you ever think we'd grow up in America and see something like that? Let me take it one step further. He wants to disallow the 4-H from training children to work on a farm. Jawohl."

"Jawohl" isn't necessarily a Nazi term -- it's a German equivalent of "yes sir" used in military contexts -- but it is commonly associated with the German dictator, especially when combined with "mein fuhrer."

Raese was condemned last month for his statement about smoking bans, which he made at an April 12 campaign event. At that event, he told the crowd, "I have to put a huge sticker on my buildings to say this is a smoke-free environment. ... Remember, Hitler used to put Star of David on everybody's lapel, remember that? Same thing."

And she probably wouldn't be giving the "Chaka Brah" if she had any idea at all where that hand Nugent has around her shoulder has been.

He was so upset because he said that the Obama Administration was going to force kids off the family farm and they would no longer be able to participate in 4H clubs. I told him that I did not believe that it was true. That there was so much misinformation and disinformation out there. I checked it out and found out that this did not affect kids on family farms. God these people piss me off.

about his support for 4H in ohio. He would rather give tax payer money to his friends via no bid contracts than fund 4H. But its all legal because he passed 'JobsOhio.'

Thanks John!

Apparently they want to beat Obama to the punch.

Last year was a horrific year for Idaho budgeting. We have a law mandating a balanced budget and a GOP-dominated State Legislature that thinks God is going to drop a lightning bolt onto the governor's toilet while he's using it if they don't somehow manage to cut taxes every year whether they need to or not. One of the first things the GOP decided to get rid of to help bring the budget into compliance was funding for 4-H. (After a massive outcry they decided to leave 4-H alone and just cut education some more, but they WOULD have cut 4-H if they'd have had their way.)

And looking at ol' Ted's picture...doesn't Ted's soul patch just make you want to go get yours removed by laser?
