GOP lawmakers make move to ban sale of fetal body parts

Madison— Responding to a controversial video, Republican lawmakers are moving to ban the sale and use of the body parts of unborn babies following abortions.

In another two draft bills, Rep. André Jacque (R-De Pere) is also seeking to reduce the funding that flows through the state government to Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin to provide family planning services.

The legislation follows a video that was secretly recorded in California of a Planned Parenthood official discussing the price of selling fetal body parts with anti-abortion activists posing as tissue buyers for medical researchers.

Republican legislative leaders and a spokeswoman for presidential candidate and Gov. Scott Walker had no immediate comment.

Jacque was also not immediately available for comment.

Rep. Joel Kleefisch (R-Oconomowoc), another proponent of the body parts bill, said he believes the video would add momentum to the push for it............

5. I wish the news media would focus on the criminal Republicans in office,

both in states and in Federal Govt. There are Republicans who are rapist, felons, sex abusers and in office, having a say in bills that are passed. Why are the Democrats and media silent on this issue.
