Taliban leader Mullah Omar 'is dead'

Source: BBC

The leader of the Afghan Taliban, Mullah Mohammed Omar, has died, Afghan officials say, but the militant group has not commented on the claim.

The reclusive leader died two to three years ago, Afghan government and intelligence sources said. No further details were released.

A Taliban spokesman contacted by the BBC said the group would issue a statement shortly.

There have been several reports of Mullah Omar's death in the past.

Is he the one they kept saying they killed during the multitudes of wars Bush started? Every time Bush would do something stupid, MSM or the Pentagon (same difference in a lot of cases) would trot out that same Taliban guy over and over again and said they got him to try to make everyone stop talking about how stupid Bush is/was. Someone finally pointed out it was the same guy over and over again. Was it this one? Does anyone else remember?

Mullah Omar was an ISI created character. He never existed before or after the 9/11 heat. There is only one partial picture of him.
