Palestinian baby burned to death in 'extremist attack'

An 18-month-old Palestinian boy has burned to death after "extremists" allegedly set fire to his family house in Duma, in the occupied West Bank.

The boy's parents and four-year-old brother were also injured in the attack, sources told Al Jazeera on Friday morning.

Israeli police told the Reuters news agency that they suspected the attack was carried out by Jewish extremists.

Two Palestinian houses were burned at the entrance of the village with graffiti left on the walls, reading "revenge" and "long live Messiah."
