Florida nabs white supremacists planning "race war"

ORLANDO, Florida (Reuters) - Ten alleged members of a white supremacist group training near Orlando and Disney World for a "race war" have been rounded up in a series of arrests in central Florida, authorities said on Tuesday.

The arrests were based on evidence from a confidential informant who infiltrated the neo-Nazi organization known as the American Front 17 months ago, according to an arrest affidavit.

"The American Front (AF) is a military-styled, anti-Semitic, white supremacist, skinhead organization and is known as a domestic terrorist organization," the affidavit said.

It said the group's alleged local ringleader, Marcus Faella, 39, had been "planning and preparing the AF for what he believes to be an inevitable race war" and had stated "his intent ... to kill Jews, immigrants and other minorities."

He was arrested for a unrelated (well, he is a white supremicist) bomb plot which, uh, blew up in their faces when the bomb... blew up in the face of their accomplice. Other than being an asshole very similar to the assholes in this story, he has nothing to do with this group.

Just go to the tampa Bay Times, look up any article on race or the 2012 convention, and you will gte plenty of yahoos bragging about they would use stand your ground to kill liberals and minoroties, how they plan to shoot OWS at Tampa. but to be honest, I also waffled between Kendrick and Charlie. I knew Kendrick didn't have a chance, and that Charlie would be miles above Rubio. In the end I voted my conscience: for the Democrat. I think at least some who voted for Charlie felt that in this case, pragmatism trumped conscience and had nothing to do with race.

However, there were those who dismissed Meek because he was black, even though be beat off a Billionaire. 17. My oldest friend lives in Ft. Myers, Florida

and several years ago I went down to visit her for a couple of days. Flying into Tampa was a lot cheaper than flying into Ft. Myers, so I did and she picked me up. Going home, she had to go to work, so my godson drove me up and because we had several hours to kill, we went to a gun show. I had been to one or two up in New York and figured no big deal. What made it so much different were the several white power and militia groups with tables and displays and who were actively recruiting. It was one of those "I've read about you, but damn skippy, you really do exist" moments.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could give them their own "only white" island somewhere. If we could just let them live in a paradise of racial purity.
