Poll: More Than Half Of Jersey Voters Say Christie's 'Arrogant,' Not 'Presidential'

Source: TPM

-snip-

The Rutgers-Eagleton poll found that 54 percent of Garden State voters said Christie wasn't at all "presidential" while 29 percent said the word describes him somewhat well. Just 14 percent said they thought the word "presidential" described Christie very well.

The poll noted that those figures were little changed since April. Christie launched his presidential campaign at the end of June.

So how would New Jersey voters describe their two-term governor?

Fifty-eight percent said the word "arrogant" describes the governor very well, while 49 percent said "bully" is a very apt description for Christie. The poll surveyed 757 registered voters in New Jersey by phone from July 25-Aug. 1. It had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.6 percentage points.

then watching their approval ratings in their own states sink; all while peddling "yea I got elected in a blue state." Ummm you need to be pop in your own states to have a chance at the nod, like Reagan, Clinton, Carter, and W. were in CA, AR, GA, and TX.

Hello folks

My friend Rudy and I had a very long shot talk about those polls and Rudy's right .
Rudy pointed out what it all means with these polls and the numbers polls put out.

Rudy says there is only one number that rings the bell and the american people know that ring tone.
And it's all about polarity.

Polls are like a hot dog ,you can always get a hot dog in-between meals.

Polarity folks !

A GOP Governor supporting a team in a BLUE STATE with a Democratic Governor.

Also, how many times do the NYPD travel into New Jersey? He can't support the New Jersey State Police?

Why doesn't he support his New Jersey Red Devils hockey team?

"Christie" and "Presidential".

He's a corrupt, bullying, disgusting creep. And he doesn't belong anywhere near the White House.

His obesity bothers me greatly (I can say that because I am a Lifetime Member of Weight Watchers). The job of POTUS is exceedingly difficult and stressful. If he can't manage his weight, how can he manage that job.

to be president. In New Jersey, NJ Transit delays are so high, high property taxes, high unemployment. Christie is not right for America. Period.

in New Jersey.

The same crap he's doing now during his Presidential run is the same crap he was doing as Governor, and while running for election in New Jersey. It's not like the Repukes in New Jersey are seeing anything new.

Not to vote for a "law and order" Governor! (his law and his order) Now they all groan when I mention Gov. Fat Boy, and the fact that he used them as the fools they were. Most agree now Waste of skin he is, a lot of skin to cover that ass!
