Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Vice President Joe Biden will be in Pittsburgh next Monday to participate in the city's Labor Day parade and other festivities, according to a news release from the White House.
Officials said more details would be available later about Biden's visit.
Biden is contemplating a run for the Democratic nomination for president in 2016.
He would join Hillary Clinton, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley and former Virginia U.S. Sen. Jim Webb in seeking the party's nomination.
