Romney donor pulls support, backs Obama, over same-sex marriage

Source: CNN

CNN) – A well-known, openly gay supporter of Mitt Romney in New York has decided to withdraw his support for Romney and back President Barack Obama instead.

The clincher: Romney's stance on same-sex marriage.

"I feel that I no longer wish to support your presidential campaign and ask that you please return the maximum contribution that I gave to you last year," Bill White wrote in a letter addressed to the former Massachusetts governor and obtained by CNN.

"You have chosen to be on the wrong side of history and I do not support your run for president any longer," White added.

But think about it. Anyone who hates marriage equality would never have voted for the President any time. Some people who never really thought about it will probable come to the Presidents side after they gain clear knowledge. Not only the right thing to do, but a winning stand for our President.

You didn't have a problem with him BEFORE?????

What the????
Incredible enough, but as a gay man himself, I'm amazed he hadn't noticed Rmoney's problem with Teh Gay sooner.

'Course, what's a gay man doing in the repuke party in the first place.....but then, what are any women of any sort doing there, either......

oh wait its Fake news - duh. I think many people who were supporting Mittens, by money and votes have decided that this guy isn't presidential material. Bullying and lack of honestly are two traits that I personally dislike although I know that those two traits are some of the insane party of no's best quailities.

Will the scales similarly fall from the eyes of other gay Republicans? Whatever your financial position, you have to admit that the party that seeks your annihilation isn't going to concern itself overmuch about the money you might have. And is an extra three cents on the dollar in taxes really the price for your self respect?
