Iran hangs 'Israel spy' over nuclear scientist killing

A man convicted of killing an Iranian nuclear scientist in Tehran two years ago has been hanged, Iran's state media report.

Majid Jamali Fashi, 24, was convicted of killing Professor Massoud Ali Mohammadi by detonating a bomb outside his home in January 2010.

Fashi was also accused of being a spy for the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and receiving $120,000 (£72,000) for the killing.

Israel does not comment on such claims.

The judicial system in Iran is not exactly renowned for justice. And let's not get into how lousy the U.S. judicial system is- that's hardly pertinant.

So how do you know this was justice? Do tell. You must have all kinds of special inside info, dearie.

The fact is you don't know if this was justice or a horrible mockery of justice- and neither do I. For all you know this man was innocent.

But hey, you're so convinced the Iranian justice system is fair, please defend the execution of men for sodomy.
