Mitt Romney Suggests There's 'Personal Beef' Between Barack Obama And Bill Clinton

Source: Huffington Post

Mitt Romney has spent the past few weeks portraying President Barack Obama as an "old-school liberal" so out of touch with modern realities that he's a dinosaur even within his own party. To that point, he's tried in several recent speeches to pit the president against Bill Clinton, who famously declared that the era of big government was over during his administration.

Addressing a crowd in Des Moines, Iowa, on Tuesday, Romney took that divide-and-conquer effort to a more gossipy level, suggesting that the president was ignoring Clinton's approach out of some personal animus with the man. The campaign's prepared remark included the following:

Even a former McGovern campaign worker like President Clinton was signaling to his own Party that Democrats should no longer try to govern by proposing a new program for every problem. President Obama tucked away the Clinton doctrine in his large drawer of discarded ideas, along with transparency and bipartisanship. It’s enough to make you wonder if maybe it was a personal beef with the Clintons ... but really it runs much deeper.

The idea that there is "beef" between the two Democrats echoes a commonly trotted out theory (offered most recently in Ed Klein's controversial new Obama book) that the Clintons and Obama have mutual disdain and distrust for one another dating back to the 2008 primary. It's the same tactic that Sen. John McCain used against Obama, unsuccessfully, after that primary ended.

Fuck you, Rmoney. And Rove too. This is a classic Rove trick to separate a candidate from his best boosters.

Fuck you, Mittens. And Ham Rove.

This facade up when Bill Clinton goes campaigning for Obama, how will this work? Yes they had words over the 2008 primary, but that's water under the bridge IMO.

Or atleast thats how it should read.
Now though hopefully he will will let them lapse because its crystal clear that the 1% have failed the nation and that the myth that they are job creators is dead because while they have enjoyed the lower taxes they didnt do their part and actually create new jobs but instead they sat on the cash all these years while their employees have had to struggle due to largely stagnant wages that havent kept up with the cost of living.

First off if it is true, it makes no difference in how I would vote. Bill Clinton is better than any Republican and he seems nice and all, but if he is fighting with Obama that is between them. Secondly, I can't believe Rmoney would have an inside track on what is going on privately between Democrats seriously it's not like he is invited to dinner or on speaking terms with any Democrats, at least I hope not. Thirdly, if Rmoney says it then it is probably a lie. I don't think he can speak without lying.

In the first photo, Barack is about to give Bill the Vulcan Death Pinch. And, Michelle is about to twist off his testicles in the next shot. Lord knows we all heard about how Bill whacked Barack over the head with the golf club seconds after that last photo was taken. It's World War III there, that' for sure.

....(the rich wall-street Mormon, understander of economies and genuine upper-class twit) should worry more about his own standing within his own party....the God-pukes and baggers I talk to say all is not well within the puke party and many will sit this one out....

....they certainly don't like Obama but as long as he doesn't fuck with their guns they'll look the other way....there's a wee-bit of 'hate-the-rich' even among this crowd....

....jobs and the economy are not as important as you might think to these employed, "I've got mine, go get yours." pukes....so slick willard, I believe if elected you will give tax breaks to yourself and your friends, green-light a new economic melt-down and start many a new war....and some of your fellow pukes believe this too....
