Cruz sternly rebuked by GOP

Source: Politico

Ted Cruz can’t even get a protest vote in the Senate anymore. On Monday night, Cruz’s colleagues ignored his attempt to disrupt Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s efforts to fund the government without attacking Planned Parenthood. In an unusual rebuke, even fellow Republicans denied him a “sufficient second” that would have allowed him a roll call vote.

Then, his Republican colleagues loudly bellowed “no” when Cruz sought a voice vote, a second repudiation that showed how little support Cruz has: Just one other GOP senator — Utah’s Mike Lee — joined with Cruz as he was overruled by McConnell and his deputies.
It was the second time that Cruz had been denied a procedural courtesy that’s routinely granted to senators in both parties. The first came after he called McConnell a liar this summer. . .

intend on either forcing the GOP to adopt every one of their positions or destroy the Republican party. They live in a perpetual grade school playground mentality. In their profound immaturity, ignorance, and brainwashed hate they are a clear and present danger to civilized society and liberty.

along with fellow Dominionist, the prophets and apostles of the Rain Movement-those that believe that Christ will not have a Second Coming which is in opposition to Evangelicals and their mission/movement of The Great Commission of Christ. Cruz and fellow Dominionist, Kim Davis, need to leave public office if they disagree with the Constitution of the U. S. How can they take an Oath of Office when they know they are lying about the oath they take?

They also have the help of the demonic U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which puts a lot of money in the state and local races where a little money goes a long way. Until we re-adopt a 50 state strategy and also pay attention to these state and local races they will consistently do better than their follower's numbers suggest.

Ideally, we get behind Bernie and his demand for Publicly Funded Elections (PFEs). PFE's would solve many of our problems as it would return Representative Democracy back to the people and control of our government away from the Donor class!

I think it's more a personal thing against Ted himself rather than the positions he holds.

He's pissed off the wrong people and they are hanging him out to dry.

It can't be his bagger cred, seeing as how the House R's are hedging hard right with the next speaker.

It's just possible that Ted is an entitled asshole on a very personal level.
