How Bernie Sanders’ New Bill Would Help More Workers Unionize

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) unveiled a new bill this week that would make it easier for workers to form a union and negotiate a contract free from employer retaliation or foot-dragging. As he actively courts union endorsements of his presidential candidacy, Sanders’ latest move also draws a strong contrast with his Republican opponents in the presidential race, who have almost unanimously backed “right-to-work” laws that would weaken labor unions.

I am so grateful that Sanders has championed issues like this, it helps our Democratic Party fend off the right wing fascistic "populism" of Donald Trump. Make no mistake about it, without Bernie, Trumps message that workers are being screwed by bad trade deals would lure more people to vote republican.

Absolutely true. I hope this presidential cycle will bring out enough voters to put a dent in the republican gerrymandered House of Representatives. It's a very steep uphill struggle, but maybe we can make a good start.

News flash. You need Congress to pass any law, yet Presidential candidates campaign on new legislation every election season.

Or, MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of "enough is enough" VOTERS, can be a Political Revolution and take back America from the Billionaires and Third Wayers!
