George Zimmerman's 'Cozy' Relationship With Sanford Police Questioned (WATCH)

Source: huffingtonpost

Neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman had a relationship with members of the police department in Sanford, Fla., long before he shot unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin to death in February, newly released information suggests.

During a community forum on Jan. 8, 2011, more than a year before Martin was killed, Zimmerman, then a criminal justice student, told city officials he had ridden along with Sanford police officers on patrol. Zimmerman blasted Sanford police as lazy and criticized outgoing Police Chief Brian Tooley, who was forced from office in a scandal involving the son of an officer caught on tape beating a homeless black man.

1. And his father is a judge.

I want to know if Wolfinger (The district attorney that spiked Officer Serino's recommendation that Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter, filed the night of the shooting) called Zimmerman's father.

I also want to know if there is any truth to the rumors that Zimmerman's father was present when the witnesses were questioned.

This whole thing stinks on ice.

2. GZ is "the son of Robert Zimmerman, Sr., a retired Virginia magistrate'"

Magistrate is not an actual "Judge", as they only require something like 2 weeks training,
instead of having gone through law school, etc. and it was in Virginia (not Florida) that
his dad was a Magistrate.

Magistrate |ˈmajəˌstrāt|
noun
"a civil officer or lay judge who administers the law, esp. one who conducts a court that
deals with minor offenses and holds"

4. It's not the title or the credentials but the ability for daddy to secure a cozy position.

The fact that daddy lacked credentials and secured a position as a pseudo judge shows the families ability to connect, secure favoritism ....and for what in exchange? The position as Magistrate is an assigned position if I'm not mistaken.

Georgie, the, wet-dream policeman, he was a pseudo officer as well, in his own mind....the apple didn't fall far from the tree. These people align themselves next to power they are not qualified to actually retain....part of the Zimmerman family dysfunction is how I see it. They are delusional, grandiose and ultimately a danger to society. Somehow they gravitate to law enforcement positions and sell themselves successfully....what's the trade off for this to occur.

3. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. The rumor that Zimmerman Sr.

was present at the meeting when Wolfinger declined to go with the recommendation to arrest and charge has not been reliably refuted. Nor is it surprising in the least.

Looking at the past cover-ups of GZ's past criminal activities, daddy was instrumental in making sure that nothing stuck to his little murderer.

The situation is eerily reminiscent of the relationship between Joran Van der Sloot and his father.

7. Robert Zimmerman stated he conferred with Wolfinger

at the police department that same night. Now, why Wolfinger was there in the first place, is the big question.

6. I'm wondering if Zimmerman and his complaints about the former Police Chief
Thu May 24, 2012, 08:11 AM
May 2012

were part of ousting him and getting the new guy in? Was GZ some kind of surrogate for the incoming Chief.

It certainly seems like he had the ear of the powers that be and that may have been intimidating to the cops on the force or come into play the night of the shooting.

I started a job once and we found copies of letters that the former employee had written to Carnival Cruise Line in the name of various passengers complaining about an employee on the ship. That employee got fired and the person I replaced (who wrote the bogus letters) got hired by Carnival for that ship! Turns out his girlfriend worked on the same ship and was probably the one feeding him the names of passengers to use. Zimmerman was trying to get on the Sanford PD and was complaining about those who were already employed.

... that GZ may have such a disregard for the po-po that he was more than willing to ignore the directives of the 911 operator and take matters into his own hands.

Nice hole you're diggin', Georgie Boy ....
